Design to Impact Your City – IMSC Summer Art Camp

Imagining My Sustainable Community Summer Art Camp empowers students with an interest in art, design, architecture, and engineering to reimagine the future of Toronto’s waterfront neighbourhood.

In this week-long camp, students will be immersed in a creative multimedia studio experience led by artists and architectural designers to learn about climate art, architectural model-making, and sustainable communities. Students will be introduced to principles of architecture through demonstrations of scaled model-making and multiple art practices that students will use in their final pieces.

Through an innovative exploration of the creative process and climate change solutions, students will utilize the 9 Pillars of Sustainability to imagine, design, and model their own unique projects. This experiential camp will equip students with STEM+ART skills and inspire revolutionary ideas for building sustainable communities.
