Visiting No.9 Gardens

Come visit us in the heart of the Township of Rideau Lakes. From June to October, we offer our visitors the chance to connect with nature at our beautiful 40-acre property. Whether you come for a day or stay the night, we can promise an experience like no other.

Overnight Visits

We offer a unique experience for guests looking to connect with nature and discover our vision of a sustainable future. Stay in one of our prospector-style tents or in a traditional Mongolian yurt. Our prospector tents and yurts include access to an indoor shower and restroom facilities.

Prospector tents: equipped for up 4 people, queen-size bed plus 2 cots, bedding, cooler and access to gas BBQ

Yurts: equipped for up 4 people, 4 single beds and bedding, cooler and access to gas BBQ

Day Visits

During the summer and fall, No.9 Gardens welcomes day visitors to our beautiful site. While here, you can explore our trails and gardens on foot, see our Eco-Art exhibit and visit the Welcome Centre. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. There’s parking and admission is free, and many local attractions to include as part of your day.

Seed-to-Table Lunch 

We’re pleased to offer visitors our Seed-to-Table Lunch, prepared using fresh, natural ingredients from our garden and prepared daily in our kitchen.

Kayaking

Bring your own kayak or arrange in advance to rent. Pack a box lunch and enjoy the quiet wilderness of the Morton Creek that winds through our property and flows from the Rideau Canal dam at the foot of Morton Bay to Lower Beverley Lake and the Rideau Waterways.
